Strong Scottish Seller’s Market

The post-lockdown property market is set to remain steady and strong in Scotland, and is anticipated to continue to rise this year in 2021; sitting at a 3.4% rise in house prices this year. Overall, in the UK we have seen an average 4.1% rise in house prices across the board.

It is estimated that demand will plateau as restrictions begin to ease and it is deemed safer to remain in the previous COVID hotspots in the UK, but it will remain at its current elevated state.

At House of Highland, we negotiate an average of 6.4% over asking price for the properties we sell and that, coupled with the 3.4% rise in house prices in Scotland, makes 2021 the ideal time to sell your home or investment property with us, to capitalise on that market growth.
